fifty50 Coaching, Therapy and Training

Good for people

Learn about our unique approach to workplace mental health, our team, and our commitment to helping the planet.

Prevention over reaction.

Why fifty50?

One client described our service like having a physio table at the end of a football match: some people will walk past it knowing it’s there should they need it, others will jump on and get support straight away, and others will dip in every now and then to keep themselves at peak performance.

This preventative approach makes sure your workforce knows they have all the support they need – when they need it. To make sure small issues are solved before they become big issues.

Why is prevention better than reaction?

Building a mentally fit team is the right thing to do.

The reactive approach means you’re already too late. EAPs shouldn’t be the only thing you offer.

Why should we wait for things to go wrong?

Providing support increases workforce loyalty.

Gone are the days of a free fruit bowl and Pizza Fridays being enough to win over staff loyalty.

Staff rightfully demand more.

Coaching costs the business less money.

New  mental health research from Deloitte found that poor mental health costs employers £51bn each year, and presenteeism - where people work despite illness and don't perform at their full ability - constitutes 47% (£24bn).

The true cost of poor mental health in the workplace

In the last month, how long did your management team spend working on workplace mental health?

Some of our clients were spending 2 hours a day on this.

That’s 40 hours a month. If you attribute a manager’s time to their billable hour (£400), that’s costing the business £16,000 per month.

Mental fitness is not a tick-box exercise

To make sure your people thrive at work (for the good of themselves and the business), we need to address the root causes of the major things people struggle with. We do that by giving them the coaching, strategies, and tools to exercise their brains.

We’re here to prevent problems, but we’re also here if they arise. So, when things do happen – which they inevitably will – we make sure individuals get the support they need, quickly.

Our commitment to helping our planet

fifty50 is a proud member of the East Rwanda carbon offset programme, which supports the One Acre Fund, the Rwandan Government, and local farmers, to promote and verify sustainable agroforestry in Rwanda.
